Inspired by conversations and encounters in his photowalks through  poor and working-class neighborhoods of his hometown of Skowhegan\, His work  is deeply human\, combining elements of documentary photography with a painterly sensibility that invites viewers to confront discomfort\, beauty\, and vulnerability all at once. \nLocation: UMF Art Gallery. FREE. Open to the Public. The UMF Art Gallery is dedicated to bringing contemporary art to the campus and regional communities. The gallery is located at 246 Main Street\, behind the Admissions Office.  \nGallery hours are Tuesdays-Sundays 12-4 p.m.\, and by appointment. SUMMARY:Maine Inside Out presents “Broken Clock: Film\, Performance & Dialogue”
DESCRIPTION:“Broken Clock” is an original play about incarceration\, gun violence\, grief\, family\, trust\, and time. Chasing your mom’s car down the street… being given your first gun… finding brotherhood in the streets… fighting for a loved one to come home from prison… These are a few of the moments from “Broken Clock” expressed through theater\, poetry\, music\, and dance. \nThe play was first performed in June 2024 for the Lewiston Juneteenth Festival “The City That Carries Us: Pain Streets\, and Heartbeats” and later developed in residency at Celebration Barn. The play is created by and continually developed by the performing cast with facilitation by Amanda Huotari. The play also features audio recordings of currently incarcerated MIO artists. Following the performance\, the audience will be invited to dialogue with the performers about the themes of the play. Location: Emery Community Arts Center. Free\, or by donation.
