Make Art Happen: Your Path to Arts Leadership

UMF’s Arts Administration program blends business studies with a focus in Music, Theatre, or a personalized track. It prepares students for careers managing performing arts spaces, writing grants, and leading arts organizations.

At the heart of UMF’s Arts Administration program are three Project courses that guide students from exploration to professional practice. Project 1 serves as the gateway, allowing all arts majors to work with faculty on a topic, idea, or project, with each student contributing uniquely to the collective vision.

In Project 2, sophomores and juniors collaborate on a community-connected project for public presentation, working largely independently from faculty. Project 3 serves as the capstone, where seniors complete a culminating project that both showcases their skills and prepares them for a career in the arts.

Save more than $5,500 per year in tuition.

Through the NEBHE Tuition Break program, students from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont receive a $5,670 tuition discount on all UMF degree programs.

Turn your love for the arts into a career with UMF’s Arts Administration program! Focus on Music, Theatre, or create your path while learning the skills to run arts organizations, manage performances, write grants, and lead creative projects.
