Make Art Happen: Your Path to Arts Leadership
At the heart of UMF’s Arts Administration program are three Project courses that guide students from exploration to professional practice. Project 1 serves as the gateway, allowing all arts majors to work with faculty on a topic, idea, or project, with each student contributing uniquely to the collective vision.
In Project 2, sophomores and juniors collaborate on a community-connected project for public presentation, working largely independently from faculty. Project 3 serves as the capstone, where seniors complete a culminating project that both showcases their skills and prepares them for a career in the arts.
What can I do with a degree in Arts Administration?
A degree in Arts Administration prepares you for a wide range of careers that combine creativity, leadership, and business skills. Essentially, an Arts Administration degree gives you the skills to run, manage, and grow arts organizations while making a real impact in your community and the creative world.
