Meredith Swallow

Dr. Meredith Swallow is an Associate Professor of Elementary Education. She holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Vermont with a research focus on educational technology. Dr. Swallow taught for many years as a mathematics teacher focused on engaged and active learning by supporting the connection of knowledge with application and creativity. Her current teaching and research centers on supporting pre-service teachers and in-service graduate-level educators in developing, and engaging with, innovative teaching practices that support active, learner-driven environments, and effective technology integration
